Façade & Masonry Restoration
Restoring the original brickwork, limestone trim and weathered architectural details that define this landmark's character.
Historic teaching spaces on the Symons Campus have served the Trent University community since the institution's earliest years. Every ticket purchased through universityloto.com directly supports the restoration of façades, classrooms and interiors — preserving a landmark of academic life in Peterborough for the next generation of students.
This website is operated and managed in support of Trent University. Under provincially issued Raffle Licence RAF1539707, a charitable lottery is conducted to raise funds for the Trent University charitable lottery campaign throughout the licence period of April 2, 2026 to March 23, 2027.
All proceeds collected through ticket sales are directed toward the restoration of historic academic facilities — among the oldest on the Symons Campus in Peterborough. The campaign covers structural repair, façade conservation, accessibility upgrades and the refurbishment of teaching spaces. Participation is voluntary, age-restricted and intended as a responsible, recreational way to support the future of campus heritage.
Funds raised through the universityloto.com charitable lottery are allocated to four core areas of the campus heritage reconstruction project at Trent University.
Restoring the original brickwork, limestone trim and weathered architectural details that define this landmark's character.
Refurbishing teaching spaces with modern audio-visual equipment, improved lighting and historically sensitive interiors.
Installing elevators, accessible washrooms and updated fire safety systems to welcome every member of the campus community.
Re-opening the historic reading room and creating new collaborative study spaces for undergraduate and graduate students.
This historic building has welcomed students through its doors for more than sixty years. After decades of dedicated service, it requires comprehensive structural and interior renewal to meet today's academic, accessibility and safety standards — while preserving the architectural identity that makes it instantly recognisable on the Symons Campus.
The lottery draw is conducted in accordance with the conditions of Raffle Licence RAF1539707 and applicable provincial regulations. Each ticket represents both a chance to be selected in the draw and a direct contribution to the campaign.
